His whole time with Denver they made the playoffs plus the WCF once. Denver offered him a 3yr extension on top of the 1yr he had remaining. That would have been 4yrs for about 80mil over the life of the extension.

The Knicks had made the playoffs once since the 2001-02 season before he was traded to New York.

Basically what I'm saying is that he could have had winning and money had he stayed in Denver. But he obviously wanted to play in New York. Time will tell if PJ and Fisher can land some big FA when they'll have a lot of cap space free'd up next summer, plus a 1st round pick next draft.

i agree. he better not bitch again when he's home early. If he really wanted a chance at a title he should of went out west in my opinion. he knicks arent winning anytime soon in my opinion
