I have to say I am a bit surprised. How does Manziel compare to Tebow in regards to star power or athleticism? Is Manziel better?

Yes Johnny is way better than Tebow as an NFL QB. I think he will go #1 unless he comes out same year as Clowney.

And he will be very succesful in the NFL... Similar to Russ Wilson, but better arm and more active feet.... #1 pick.... easy

I'd say he's too short to be an NFL franchise QB, but then again I thought the same about Russell Wilson...

No way he is successful. His style of play relies on out running too many people. At least that was last year. He wont have that advantage in the NFL.

Little early to decide even if Russel Wilson is the real deal. Need to see if he finds himself in the sophomore slumps like Cam and a few other flash in the pans have had. Having said that, I doubt RW is like a new mold that will have more following. The kid has more drive than maybe anyone else in the league right now. That's the difference. He is just a different cat upstairs. More about his mind than his size/talent.

Same height as Drew Brees and taller than Wilson....

If Manziel is going top 5, he better put on a show this year passing the ball. He was fantastic last year but to prove to the NFL that he can be a QB at the next level he has to be able to demonstrate his passing skils.

He'll get drafted top 5 on pure talent alone imo. A HC will think (right or wrong) that he can coach em' up.

Clowney won't go first if there's a quarterback needy team picking 1st, I just hope my Bills are the first non-QB needy team picking, we could use Clowney in our defense

I see no scenario where Clowney is not the #1 pick. Someone will trade up for him if the other team needs a QB. Clowney is once a generation type of player...

JFF is supposed graduate pretty soon. Red shirt freshman last year but academically he was a junior. Plus I'm sure he will want to protect his NFL future by not risking another season after this one.

I cant believe some folks actually think he is less than a top 5 pick. I think he will have a super successful NFL career....

He puts another year together like last year and who could you argue. Where he would fall in the top few picked would have something to do with who is picking and what they need.

I agree with ellupo... guy is fun to watch, but had 1 good season with a style that will get him killed in the NFL.

I thought Brey would have been a 1st rounder out of Tenn after his 1st year.. but look where that went.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Johnny get a rude wakeup call this year after last year...

Someone might want to trade up for Teddy though too.

The NFL is still a pocket passing QB league. Period.

The QB has to have the ability to throw the ball down the field to keep defenses honest, and deliver strikes.

RGIII and Russell Wilson are outliers and special talents. They are composed in the pocket, can thrive in the pocket, and deliver strikes FROM the pocket. They have the ability to naturally throw the football into tight spaces along with down the field throws.

What do think of Cam Newton after year two? Not quite the hero to take on the challenge of the NFL? Right? All show and it is all about me kind of thing?

RGIII and Wilson are so far ahead of Johnny from a mental standpoint it isn't even debateable. They are/were way more mature than Johnny.

You have to have the abilty to check down to your 2nd, 3rd, if not 4th option as a QB in the NFL from the pocket. Not scrambling around making plays every time there is pressure. (Ask Doug Flutie).

If you are a QB in the NFL you better be damn well-prepared to take a beating in your checkdowns in the pocket when completing passes with 300 pound men who are taking you to the ground with bad intentions.

If you think Johnny Manziel will run around in the NFL and not get banged up more than RGIII in his first year at the helm, then I have no clue what you are looking at. Especially when he is physically a midget compared to RGIII with a lesser arm and lesser top end speed.

OC, I have seen Johnny make plenty of great passes from the pocket and outside the pocket. SOrry. I think he is an NFL player.... And a good one... maybe great
