National Women's Hockey League - Wikipedia200+ player joint statement.
One of the team is called the "Buffalo Beauts"? And they DON'T think they're dissociated from reality? Ever been to Buffalo?National Women's Hockey League - Wikipedia

Is one of the problems that they're trying to fit 40+ women on each team?
Kendall Coyne-Schoefield and Hilary Knight are among those releasing this 200+ player joint statement.
The problem is with the name of the league, they need a snappier acronym than NWHL. Something like B.O.O.B.S.
They are the only ones.
Poulin released the same statement but in French.
If this does happen. Hell I'd support it. Hockey is hockey no matter what sex of a player.

How can a leauge with 6 or fewer teams survive?
Yes. That was directed at just thatThe NHL managed it for 50 years... (I realize this is like comparing apples to locomotives)
I go watch the Ohio State Women's team, partly because I am friends with their goalie coach and one of my son's teammates' older sister plays. entertainment value-wise it's often as good or better than Men's hockey.
The issue is how do they get casual hockey fans to spend money to watch. I will go to the rink to watch Mites play. I will always go and watch hockey. I'd pay to watch a women's pro game. But I am very much in the minority.
They need to figure out a non-gimmicky way to get people watching on TV or online.
I'm all for equality but interest is what drives up salaries. What they are asking for is not feasible with their current attendance figures, sad but true.
I’m all for economics.
The nba should not be subsidizing the WNBA and the nhl shouldn’t touch this as well.
