domonic brown did get a hit tonight! he is now 3 for 20 batting .150...sounds like he's ready for the phillies! and at AA Reading: the Fightins finally got a pinch hit in the 9th inning by some unknown career minor leaguer to avoid getting no-hitted. Looks like the offense, for the most part, sucks at every level.

AA Reading got shutout again tonight. They have not scored a run in 19 innings and AAA Lehigh Valley got killed 11-1...only bright spot was franco. He went 2 for 4 and his average is above .350.

oh yeah, domonic brown went 0 for 4 and is now batting .125 He is real solid! Surprised they haven't brought him up yet. he would fit in perfectly since everyone not names galvis, asche, or herrera on the phillies is batting one hundred and something.

Aaron Nola pitched a good game for Reading tonight. 7 IP and allowed 1 ER NO walks...lowered his ERA to 2.55. you have to wonder why they brought this severino guy up? to me, he looks like a career minor league pitcher.

Beats me. Ask brainedead. He's running this colossal mess except for a few bright spots.

AAA Iron Pigs 6-18, worst record in int' league. Nothing there to help except Franco whose average has dropped to .323. D. Brown got a hit today to raise his average to .173. At AA Reading, one of the pitchers they got for Rollins, Windle walked 7 batters in 2 innings before they pulled him out.

Severino is pitching again today. I think he will do better. He was probably nervous his 1st time out.

It would be almost impossible for him to do worse... That entire AAA team is garbage. I have no idea what they are doing with Severino. He was moving up quickly then had a bad year at AA, so they promote him to AAA and then the majors? It's almost like they want all the "prospects" in Reading and his off year last year made him not a prospect any more so they promoted him to get rid of him. Maybe they want one of their teams to be over .500 and they figure Reading is the only chance?

tonight, jesse biddle gets a 7 run spot in the first 2 innings, but can't hold on and has to leave after 4 innings after allowing 10 hits, 2 walks, and 5 earned runs.
At AAA lehigh, Franco with a big night: 3 for 5 with a HR & 2 RBI's. And our former top prospect, dom brown goes 1 for 6! and is now batting .200. Remember that 31-year old career minor leaguer, Bogusevic from spring training? he went 4 for 6 with a HR and 4 RBI's and is hitting .333. Look for amaro to bring him up soon. lol

Bogusevic would be better off the bench than $2M Sizemore in the battle for 31-year olds. Unless Ruf or Brown can bust out we'll be shuttling players like this back and fourth from the farm for the next few years to fill a single outfield position. The Phils need a can't-miss, high level OF prospect from a Hamels trade to solve the problem.

oh boy, brown with 3 hits tonight..brought his average up to .232. He will be coming up soon. Franco 2 for 4 with 3 rbi's...but he'll probably rot longer at AAA. Since asche stopped hitting, seems to me like a good time to bring up Franco.

And a good time to try Asche in the OF. Asche has 5 errors so far vs 16 last season and a number of hot drives have gone through him.

What has gotten into Asche's head? He is suddenly missing things and getting errors like no tomorrow. Geez Louise!

Quit screwing with the kid. Move him to 2B (sorry Chase) and bring up Franco. And Crawford should be in Reading by now.
