The fight is scheduled for July 10th. McGregor is talking about his adjustments and plan to win. However, Poirier is always improving. It wasn't just the calf kicks. Poirier landed some great counter punches. Also, McGregor got taken down pretty easily. That could happen again.

Poirier fought a smart fight in the last one. He has a great chance to win again.

McGregor stiffed Poirier's foundation out of a 500k donation. McGregor isn't a man of his word. That's not a good look for a multimillionaire. It's better to not make a promise than to make one and not keep it.

McGregor needs to move on it's real obvious his best days are in the past.

I think that he wants to use a win over Poirier as a stepping stone for a big boxing match. That didn't work out well for him last time. I think he picked the wrong fighter to challenge. McGregor may rethink his MMA career if he loses 2 in a row.

FWIW, McGregor just said the fight is off, calling Dustin a hillbilly on Twitter. Not sure if that's just more drama to draw in more viewership, but I wouldn't put it past them.

They were too nice to each other last time. McGregor needs some fuel to add to the fire.

Seriously doubt at this stage of his career he can hang with Poirier, something we see a lot of in the MMA, guys meeting at a different stage of the career.

McGregor is upset for being exposed for being a liar. Poirier's wife personally thanked him for giving to the foundation. McGregor may want to run from the fight.

The Good Fight is the organization that McGregor stiffed. McGregor is probably mad because he lost a big payday with Paquio.

The fight is official. Going into a fight owing money to Poirier was not a good idea.

I see this fight as a chance to seal Poirier's legacy as an all time great. There is no longer underrating him if/when he beats McGregor twice in a row.

I am thinking Poirier gets the win by submission. He didn't have a problem getting a take down in the last fight. He wanted a KO last time. This time he will take the win however it comes. McGregor could get really hurt talking about Poirier's wife before the fight. I don't think his mind games will work like it did in the first fight.

Ya, Conner hasn’t evolved at all. So many guys have passed him by. He’s more like a WWE wrestler than an MMA icon these days.

Gonna be ugly.

What a joke. The fighting thing is obviously gone now and all that's left is a dirtbag with more cash than he needs. I'll take the under on 40 years for the accidental overdose caused by a drug cocktail.

Like I said McGregor needs to call it a career, it's getting cartoonish now.

BUT.....the guy was great for the sport, he got the rasslers thing about selling an event, MMA needs that.

Love to watch him perform but it should be over now, but somethings tells me it's not.

Anyone remember Superfoot Wallace?

Why not call it a doctors stoppage. Diamond strutting away just fueled the rampage by Connor. Its not helping that all these "experts" are saying its over for Connor.

He's lost 3 of his last 4 fights hasn't he. And talking about killing a man in the ring and shit about a man's wife is going above n beyond mere hyping of a fight. CM should probably kick back, make commercials, lend his name to shit that'll make him money and run up in fine ass honeys. Till he finds one he wants to marry and takes half his money in the divorce.

What we saw in the Poirier vs Mcgregor fight was an absolute beat down. Two judges ruled it 10-8. Round 2 would have most likely been Mcgregor getting grounded and pounded or KO'd. Mcgregor needs to let it go. He's not getting one punch knock outs and Poirier is more well rounded. Mcgregor is just a disrespectful loser at this point.

How a great champion loses is what really solidifies a legacy ...or erodes it.

I pray McGregor learns this before it's too late.
