@SmokingMonkey > I'm actually kind of surprised you didn't take TE Kroft to go with Eifert.

And I was a little surprised we all passed on Williams in DAL and LaFell in CIN.

it was between him and RSJ, and whether it's Bradford or Rosen, RSJ could be in line for a breakout season on a team with no proven options behind Fitz as of now. Kroft will get you 6-8TDs and little to no yardage if Eifert isn't healthy ever again. Whereas Eifert has double digit TD potential if healthy.

if any of that rambling makes sense!

What I don't get is the Nick Backstrom comparison to some of the top forwards. Sorry but I don't see it.
i see it

i think he is an amazing playmaker and has been for a long time

he is Jumbo Joe without the size kinda Adam Oates type...

dont forget he played in the finals with what appeared to be broken bones in his hand...

Was bored.

Joe's Coma Team - from the 4th spot (round)

QB - Blake Bortles (1) & Ryan Tannehill (7)
There must be a lot of hate for Bortles?
Only 8 QB average more yards per game than the "BB gun" over the last 3 years.
Plus he averages 29 TD. I would've taken him first overall if I picked first.
This is about points, right?

RB - Kalen Ballage (4), Javorius Allen (5), TJ Yeldon (6) & Spencer Ware (12)
Ballage was my risk pick, hoping all the rumors are true that he challenges for the lead RB role.
Allen and Yeldon will get touches as 3rd-down backs.
Ware was a nice late-round flyer.

WR - Tyrell Williams (2), DeSean Jackson (3), Tyler Lockett (8) & John Brown (10)
This is my first time in coma so I figure some WR2 would be good to target first?
Wanted consistent "touch" players and I think I got 'em.
My favorite pick might be John Brown.
Now that they know he has a sickle cell issue, if they keep it under control, he could be a solid contributor.

TE - Jared Cook (11) & Benjamin Watson (13)
I like tight ends about as much as I like rookies.
(Lots of hype for relatively few fantasy points.)
Kind of surprised Watson went unclaimed. In a down year (2017), he finished 16th in TE yardage.
Meaning that 22 TE were picked ahead of him this season.
And now he's reunited with Brees in N'Orleans. Was big easy decision.

PIT Steelers & K Brandon McManus
I sound like a broken record but the Steelers have a lite schedule against average-to-weak offenses.
And they were the 9th-best D/ST last year! Got a steal.
McManus, kicker, meh, mile high air, better QB, ...seemed to fit.

Aww what thell, I'm bored too!

Qb'- AJ McCarron and Dak Prescott. I know I've preached McCarron latey, so no need to rehash that. Prescott should add a nice floor/safety net even though I'm sure his passing numbers are going to resemble RW's rookie year, at best.

RB's - AP, D. Murray, C. Grant, J. Wilkins, Joe Williams. obviously the weakest set currently in the league, but potential to easily lead this league in touches should AP and Murray find favorable situations. And should Joe Williams win a chunk of the committee in SF..lucky me.

WR's- Jordan Matthews, M. Williams, J. Kearse, A. Miller. Relying on a little faith that Matthews revives his career in NE, and the Williams takes the next step after a hodge podge rookie year in SD. Kearse is likely the safest bet for a sure role, but, yea, its as a Jet. Miller, men, maybe lightning in a bottle, but not holding my breath.

TE- Njoku .love this guy. Talent to be the best fantasy TE easily. But still young and dumb, and still in Cleveland

D/st - Dallas.. Watch yourselves NFC east fans..Dallas is quietly building a QB nightmare. Added a lot of quality pass rushers and sideline to sideline LB's the past two drafts, and have another returning from suspension...could be a sneaky good find in a standard redraft this year
K- AdamV. If Luck plays, Vinny could be a top 3-5 kicker. If not..he's still a kicker

QB - C Keenum
went the 'no backup QB' route last yr, figured what the hell, let's do it again. had my eye on a couple backups but they kept going the round before I wanted them.

RB - B Powell, TyMo, A Ekeler, K Dixon, A Abdullah
like this group a lot, hell, could easily be a more productive group than some of the suicide teams if the chips fall in my favor. Top 3 guys will at least be in the mix for their teams and getting some touches, Dixon has to outwork at least Buck Allen, and Abdullah needs to be cut/catch on with a new team. Hey, it could happen.

WR - D Moncreif, A Wilson, C Godwin, D Amendola
went RB early and often, my WR group paid the price. a bunch of 'blah' guys, need to hope one of them catches lightning in a bottle - my money is on Wilson/Amendola taking over the Landry role and getting some production there.

TE - T Eifert, R Seals-Jones
Should've gone WR instead of RSJ, knew it when I drafted him, and still know it now. Fingers crossed one of these two TEs puts in a top 10 performance this year and makes up the lack of pts from WR.

DST - Carolina
should be good, typically are useful but not a top tier unit.

K - J Lambo
always like getting the former MLS player when he fits. JAX also fits my kicker formula - if you can't get one that kicks indoors, go SoCal or FL. Doesn't hurt that he kicks for a team with strong D and running game but something left to be desired at QB.

Given the standings with both you and Fuzz having a one game lead, and a significant lead in PF, it would take a miracle for it to be anything but you two in wk16

@Yellow Fuzzies
Guess COMA championship games get no love?
They never did when I was in em either....save that one year fuzz was undefeated going into week 15..I got lucky, beat him, then the next week he gave me a thorough ass whippin' in the game that mattered.

That one got a tiny bit of attention

If I congratulate you, does it mean I've given up hope?
My team needs 23.3 combined points from Jared Cook and Brandon McManus.
I just don't see it.

Not outta the question! Don't concede until every last vote is counted, some may mysteriously appear even after the final count... :)

I don't see that happening. We don't have related Governor in charge of the recount.:nono:

Joe,

That is actually me that you are playing.

I just never got around to changing the team name when I took over for Fuzz a couple years ago.
