13 would be hard to do with a H2H. 15 we could do where 3 teams play each week. Say I play you and TKO, each of us has the chance at 2 wins.

I was more thinking have 2 opponents every week. One is your normal and the 2nd would be the league. So if you are above median you get a win. Below median a loss and the median a tie.

The schedule would be hard to setup with an odd number of teams, but once we knew how many teams I could figure something out. Off hand one team would have a bye week where they only play the league.

Ok. So I am thinking of a different league than because that draft is March 29th and on Yahoo

If we do categories either H2H or Rot I would suggest we do an even split of conventional and oddball cats. The last one we did relied on the oddball cats too much, while most people prefer the cats they are used to.

Roster size and Cats need to be decided before we draft, H2H or roto can wait until after. Since we don't have much time I would suggest bringing in @TKOSpikes and the three of us decide on all of this this weekend. The more people in this decisions the longer they take and the more confusing they get. We don't really have the time for that.

Once we have that done, spend next week making certain of who is going to be in the league or not.

That would have us starting a slow draft on Sunday March 7th. Which would give us 3 weeks. The last time we did one for a dynasty the slow draft took forever. So I would propose a 12 hour pick clock with a midnight to 6 clock stoppage. If someone is going to be away and can't make a pick let someone know and we can find a way to work around it.

I dont think the other one folded because of the categories... it folded because we were drafting after the first week of play still.. and the feeling was just never there because of it...

I still LOVED the offensive categories of the last one... Thought it was the best balanced categories i have seen, and was proud of us for figuring it out...

The pitching though needed a little mending...

right... the way i see dynasty leagues is that you should always allow for expansion and contraction, so it should not matter if you ever have an odd number of teams...

If you need an even number I can drop out. This site is blocked at work so I rarely get on here anymore...it sucks. Plus about to move and new job in the next couple months and probably not a good idea from a dedication aspect. Can you roll with 12?

well it wont be cbs they charge $149 to commish a league I prefer fantrax but am ok with yahoo or espn or whatever
h2h for me pts or cats
not keen on uneven h2h but will go with whats decided

Well that's utter garbish!

I liked CBS when they had the chat room like here but when they got rid of that so did I with CBS

I haven’t confirmed anything with my possible owners, so there will be no hard feelings if they aren’t in.

But I can guarantee they are in and will be active, if needed.

OBX has played fantasy baseball with both before. The one won our Lions daily league atleast once.

either way if they want in they can be in...

we technically have 13 right now... but until they all jump back on to confirm before the draft, we dont know whether they will...

i think in an ideal dynasty world we would want 16 owners...

I've never done fantrax. It would be a new experience for me.

Bring him in!!! we should have an open spot for him... trying to get as many as possible, just in case we lose any before we start draft... and if we dont lose anyone, then thats even better, becasue dynasties should be deep...

Last time I played in a CBS league was 2002. I forgot about the team for quite a while and came back to fine I was in 2nd place. Barry Bonds was on my team.
