2-3 again with a pair of runs scored. It appears he has finally broken out. I just wonder if he'll get an opportunity to showcase his abilities this year. I've always thought that they never gave him much of a chance up until now

Not sure if Ced is being sarcastic. Mayberry had 353 ABs in 2013 and 441 ABs in 2012.

It must be sarcasm because Mayberry sucks, he will never "break out," and we've given him a million opportunities. He belongs in the minors.

The Astros have inquired about Mayberry. But I don't think they are offering much.

I hear they are fond of chicken and waffles in Texas. Maybe about a pound of each, and how about a throw in of 30 oz. of lean, a popular drink with origins in Houston. That should be more than enough.

yeah, I was just amusing myself. Mayberry is a platoon player and pinch hitter. If management could recognize that he wouldn't be a bad player to keep around. Honestly if they could go into the season knowing he would play every game against left handed starters for Howard or one of the outfielders he would be an asset. Unfortunately the last couple years they used him a lot in those situations, but then they also used him as an every day starter any time someone was injured. That shouldn't be his job. If Brown or Revere goes down again, they should replace them with a new starting outfielder and leave Mayberry to do what he does best.
