This guy wins his matchups. I think he is the kind of guy who step up out of nowhere and make a difference down the stretch. Unless - he is from the Big10 and therefore will be injured at any moment.

Sorry, he is from Illinois. We're screwed.

I am trying to figure out of he is a depth guy here for the future or a stop gap.

Well when it comes to the rest of 2018, he's our guy. Our Tight End IR list has thrust him into the limelight. Go LaCosse!

I’m just impressed with how much this team keeps finding guys to step up. Lacosse isn’t flashy but he gets it done when called upon.

I’m not quite understanding the love for LaCosse. Not saying he is bad or can’t step up.

He caught 0 passes last week in his first start. The week before yeah he caught his first and only TD. He has 14 catches on the season.

Let’s hold back a smidge here.

^ Wasn’t he 3rd down the depth chart when the season started? And his performance against the Steelers was noteworthy enough for some praise.

Nobody is calling him the second coming of Shannon Sharpe. But he has the potential to make a big difference in the remainder of the season.

I wouldn't say it's love for LaCosse but more along the lines of support for our only remaining tight end. Loosen up, DC!

LaCosse is a likeable enough guy - the two catches in a row vs the Steelers - the second being the TD catch - it was obvious that he was genuinely excited and fired up .. That is contagious ..

I think what I sayin' is that he doesn;t come across like a prick - like Julius Thomas, for example

I’m just laying my comment out there. Yall can take it how you want it. I’m just saying we are still one of the least productive teams at the TE spot. Injuries have hurt.

I think the purpose of Mingo’s post was he sees hope. I hear him.

He still has to prove himself though before we get lovey dovey on him.

It seemed to me that the Broncos went in with a more vanilla game plan against the Bengals and I am afraid we might see the same against the 49ers.

That being said the TE position could be the key to making or not making the playoffs. We are going to be missing a true #1 guy (Sutton is as close as we have right now) so I hope that we see 5, 6, 7, or 8 guys catching passes. There are teams that make it work with lesser talented guy by spreading the ball around. New England has had this philosophy for years. Drew Brees is pretty good at getting the ball to many different receivers also. If this team is going to make noise in the playoffs race it will be by using every tool in the tool box and not relying on one or two to carry the load in the passing game.

It now safe to say we will be spreading around the football.

Go, Lacrosse. He is very easy to root for.
