What a train wreck.

I hate to see it though. We were pretty well guaranteed 5 runs whenever we faced him, be it in a starting roll or coming out of the pen.

I really don't think Harvey has a leg to stand on here. He's been down right terrible ever since the 2015 WS.

Seems mentally weak and unwilling to help himself.

But saying that, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Braves did something stupid like take a flyer on him even though the rotation has given us no reason to complain, and we don't need to downgrade an already shitty bullpen, and if you can't pitch at Citi Field, you're not gonna be able to pitch in a bandbox like STP.

Why Matt Harvey made the right decision to leave the Mets

So what would he cost in a trade? He wouldn’t coast a legit prospect, would he?

I am not sure I would want to pay much more than Kelby Tomlinson. The crash probability with Harvey is rather high, so I would not want to lose not only the games he will cost but also the legit talent that would be shipped in return. Heck, KT is a speedy util infielder with a successful history of pinch hitting. I am not sure I would want to pay that.

That’s actually why I would be willing to part with KT. We have Hanson and need both a 25 and 40 spot freed up.
