It's hilarious how sports players, athletes, actors/actresses etc try to hide behind the computer to get their stupid message out there.

Garza has claimed that's not his account and to be honest, that was all said so poorly that I'm starting to believe him. :2cents:

Yeah I am on the fence if that was his account or not. It would not surprise me if he went that low though, he does seem like a guy who would do that.

I don't get why he was soo pissed off about the sac bunt though. If a team knows a weakness (especially in the NL) they will use it

I can see him saying one thing in the heat of the moment but not going on and on. I don't think it's him.

“All I want to say is I let my competitive spirit cross outside the lines, and that shouldn’t happen. I let my passion, my fire carry over, and that’s not how this game should be played. And for that I apologize to the Sogards for anything that was said through my Twitter. That’s all I have. I regret what happened, and I’m just looking forward to a great game today.”

Seems sincere enough. I just wonder when this guy will be busted for PEDs.

Wow, what a fool. He must have been drinking. If you're a pro athlete who indulges in alcohol, cancel your freaking Twitter account!!!

You are correct that sounds like your standard apology for someone posting while drunk

Not a proud moment for garza. I like the dude's fire, but gotta control yourself a little more. As for Sogard's wife, I hate it when they jump into the middle of a twitter pissing contest to defend their man. Shut up, nobody cares what you have to say.

As to Garza getting mad, learn to field your position. The A's exploited a weakness. That's what they're supposed to do. If you wanna be mad at someone be mad at your offense for leaving so many base runners on and only squeaking out two runs.

I Love Garza's heart! The fire that he brings is what this team has been missing. It reminds me when I play Xbox online and when I beat a guy he messages me and says " you're garbage at this game " lol

I always thought Garza looked like a douche of epic proportions. Doesn't surprise me he has the personality to match the looks.

Yes, but you (garza) has to keep your cool, especially on social media! take your frustrations out on the field and strike out 27 batters! Don't stoop to a twitter rant.

Garza needs to grow up... This is typical NL play. Bunting and moving runners over.

Of course. No defending him.
