COME ON PEOPLE, we finally get a head coach THAT GETS IT!
He understands Mike Brown and his goals. The two are on the SAME PAGE and have a roadmap to build the Bengals into a dynasty. Will there be bumps along the way? Sure!
Any worthwhile endeavor has to have an action plan, a roadmap if you will to get to where you want.
Many of you have been spoiled and expect instant gratification. This was probably brought on by on or more of the following:
A. The Bengals success last season.
C. Two great draft classes.
3. Solidifying our defense from last season.
But truthfully, last season was a fluke. When we began the rebuilding process last season, we had an above and beyond season. No one expected a trip the playoffs in year one of a rebuilding program. So far this season, we have hit a glitch, or bump in the road if you will. The season is far from lost. Even if we don't reach the playoffs, we are still ahead of the timetable.
I hate to say it, some of you may have heard me mention this in the past, but "ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY" and it is the rare occurance when an NFL dynasty is built in one season as well.
I'd like to take a moment to give "HAIRY MIKE" a shoutout for the free beer at Sunday night's game. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOODEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! Hairy MIke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
