Sad news. Battling with Alzheimer's is apparently no joke. Never had any experience with it (knocks on wood) but from the sounds of it they are glad he is finally at peace.

Sad day. And the saddest day in San Diego Charger fan history was when he was fired after a 14-2 season. The Chargers replaced him with Norv Turner and their chance to dominate for years was extinguished by the worst owner in NFL history.

God bless Marty and his family. Still loved in San Diego.

Alzheimer's is such a terrible disease. Have family that have passed away from it. To watch a family member totally forget who you are is a tough thing to go through.
