He just doesnt care much for most of the media,he has done interviews here in Seattle,hell he spoke on the realrobreport some too.
I think the issue is being misquoted like the media does often and you really never get a chance to correct it and the media always tries to make things more than what they are.

Oh and i recall Earl used to have issues with the camera and speaking to the media the first few years,he would clam up and you couldnt understand him well.

Both of them had some great reactions to the game and some funny commentary. It's always cool to see some of these guys in situations that aren't a podium with the same boring reporter questions over and over. Both of these guys have a lot of personality. If you didn't get it, you didn't get it.
