At least there is Seahawk Preseason football tonight/this weekend along w/ fantasy drafts for me tonight and Sunday... Won't be watching the M's much this weekend...

For some reason, I'm just not surprised about the downturn with this team. Their performance prior to the AS game was just too good to be true. A lot of fans, myself included, were actually thinking this team just might do something that hasn't happened for many years. If it's too good to be true....it probably isn't true. Arizona will poke a big hole in the boat, San Diego will throw us a life line, and then Oakland will cut the line and send us adrift until next season. Enjoyed the ride while it lasted I guess

Really pathetic, the A's are playing baseball better than any team in MLB history and had they just been average they'd be right there.

I mean every intelligent M's fan knew they were not going to keep up their early pace, but to think they couldn't play at the .500 mark during a slump wasn't that unreasonable.

Z amazes me. He'll go several innings K'ing out time after time and then...boom- he knocks a bomb all of the sudden. Too bad he's not a bit more consistent at the plate. Ramirez has amazed me tonight when I've checked in. Was sure he was gonna bomb out quickly but he's still in @ the bottom of the 6th. Good on you Mito.

Cano not looking too good at 1B. The first mistake wasn't his fault since it was a bad throw, but he doesn't seem to have the reach to play 1B.

He's listed at 6'0 but he looked more like someone who was 5'10 trying to field that.

Yeah, he can still play second but I don't think they are going to go into another season with Cano playing 2nd and Gordon in CF. I believe that ship has sailed. So I think Cano is either going to play 1st or DH, which means either Healy is traded or Cruz walks.
