With Kikuchi pitching today, figured this would be an appropriate time to post this article:

Yusei Kikuchi sought out Trevor Bauer to talk pitching. It ignited an unlikely bond.

Good question, I would say target a guy that's had multiple playoff experiences, has a winning record as a manager, maybe even been with multiple teams... Look how they did it with Lou, he was just coming off winning the World Series when the M's nabbed him... Next season go after Bruce Bochy !

Problem is Servais won't be going anywhere as long as Dip is running things and if ownership doesn't wake up and smell the coffee. As long as the money keeps flowing I don't expect to see much positive movement or change for Seattle baseball.

Hey Scotty- Tired of hearing you make the same old excuses in the post game. Stop making excuses and start kicking some asses and raise your expectations instead of saying things like "that's baseball" "we need to tighten things up" etc. Be a Manager and quit trying to be Mr. Nice guy. Players might like you being their buddy but I doubt they have a ton of respect for you as a manager. It's Dips responsibility to have a strong leader and not keep trying to groom his buddy who for 4 years has shown he just doesn't have the skill set...period!!
