In the simulated 2020 season, which is being compiled daily and posted in Baseball Reference.

A third of the way through the season and still holding off Houston and Oakland.

Finally have a competitive team and we cant watch them. Typical.

Our top hitter is Shed Long and our top pitchers are Yusiel and Marco. Carl Edwards is our best reliever and some guy named Giulbeau has the most saves.

And somehow we have Jonathon LuCroy, Kevin Pillar and Pablo Sandoval on our team.

Sounds legit.

That's interesting. He's rated fairly poorly on MLB the Show.
I dont even remember him from last year although it was hard to keep up. There were 67 different guys on the roster last year including a whopping 40 pitchers.

I'm not familiar with him myself. He only pitched 12.1 innnings last year (and his entire career so far), so it can be forgiven if one isn't familiar with him. That's why I jumped at the chance to buy this years MLB the Show. It's the first year they've included real, full minor league rosters.

Can find out about guys like Giulbeau before they make it to the main roster for more than a cup of coffee without having to follow real minor league ball.

Well if he only threw 12 innings in his entire career then I guess he is a dark horse candidate for (simulated) rookie of the year.

We somehow got Denard Span back too. I like him when he was here the first time

I thought the object of this season was to ensure a high pick in the draft. As usual, the Mariners can't even lose right.
