Series Thread: Mariners @ A's June 21-23

Tonight starts the latest episode in the sitcom that is Mariners Baseball.

As they gear up to play one of the few teams in the AL with a worse record then them, the main question is how long can they stretch this lovely scoreless streak.

Regardless at this point I'm sure they can provide you a few laughs because since they themselves dont take themselves seriously why should I.

We as fans deserve so much more than this shit show.

I don't get all the hate for Dipoto. He went out and got Justin Upton for nothing and it's clear he fits right into this lineup! Swinging and missing like he's been here all year.

We actually have a designated hitter in our lineup batting .083

That pretty much says it all.

I would rather see Kelenic in the lineup instead of Upton. At least he’s capable of hitting the ball over the fence once every 50 at bats.

I haven't gone back to look at prime Upton clips, but his swing just looks old and slow. A lot like Griffey's last year.
