well i have sloted in..the mariners draft picks...in a projected way...where i think they belong..

so the only thing to do now is see if they get one more outfield. a RF..or one more..ss..

i did not think ..james parker..would be there ss..but maybe he is ...so then they would only..need one more RF

or maybe they are done.....in that case ..so ..am i for now..

and i will start my list for next year.....

the mariners..did a good job of stocking the farm..down to the azl lvl.....and at catcher..
this was not a flashy...draft for them...it was a good fill the holes..draft...that i think will pay off...next year ..when they can do it deferent..

i feel packard will be at aqua sox...and that will help ..keenan....which is the prob..the 4th round guy..is not doing all that well..hitting at aqua sox..

i put cole barr at AZL..but who knows.......

so i will wait a few more days to see if they sign any more guys..but it is almost over

he was having a good year..then something happend after this list was made..which was..may 16....but he looks good here
also he has the least amount of..at bats..so...that may mean..he could use some time at AZL..at least till spring..or winter league

after putting the draft picks in there ..projected...slots..the mariners minors and AZL...look awesome...i thought..that they needed a RF..but
they have ..a Guy at AZL....gunn omosako...hitting 286...he will work at modesto...any time they need an extra guy at modesto this year and next year
a lot of the guys you see at AZL..in the 2nd 1/2...will..or may be at modesto

but there is one more thing ...1st base ...and they have those guys they need at each lvl...but..they could use 3 more guys...
and i will say why...later...but here are the guys

t j collett...AZL

griffin doersching...aqua sox............OMG..this guy looks like mark mcguire...........with huge arms

dillon schrum arkansas...or if he can not handle arkansas...then ..send.keenan to AZL...and schrum to aqua sox

its all good...and will work

and add some pop to each line up...they are a bit flat right now

well...however......they do not,,seem interested..in a..1B..at aqua sx..or .AZL..which..is where they need them...

soo...prob can cross doershing off..and collett...if they get a 1B..at AZL..which is the most likely one...it may be a waiver guy..
and i can handle that...but i would rather handle a JC..or HS development guy..but ok.....sooo

ben ramirez
1912558547310261451105135.304
at bats...................................hits..........rbis..........................................HRs...........walks......................................................................................................strike outs............ave
hits and rbis are ..just a hare low..ya like hits in the 70s-80s and rbis in the 60s...but these numbers are ok...ave could be a bit higher
i like this part...he does not strike out.....much...

while
is 1Bat modesto..and doing well
is 3B..and doing well as well

ramirez..played 3B..at usc..it says ss..on his draft thing..but i think he is a3B/1b...and will back up the 2 guys above...to start...just a guess

austin shenton has moved to arkansas...and keenan..has takin 3B..and seems to be hitting better..so far...
Dariel gomez has moved up from modesto to take the 1B spot at aqua sox...soooo. that only leaves ..AZL..for 1st base..as a need

keenan..may have been learning 1st base all this time..idk..but...i see him as one....but he will prob be what ramirez ..is /will be ...as well..a 3B/1B

seems..they like them to..play both spots...im good with that......

i was going to give my projected roster...but it is in ....flux.....right now so i wont....soo the holes seem....filled for the most part

mariners seem to have drafted a lot of bull pen guys...to work with..and filled up at catcher....im ..good with ramirez..he was not on my list..but that is ok...i think he is a good guy to get...sooo ok....

Schwartz, JT
UCLA (CA)..was takin in the 4th round...2 picks before the mariners...by the mets...i think if he would have fell to them...they would have drafted him...a more advanced..3B/1B...
but..dont win..to maney games...mets people..cuz the mariners may be in front of the mets on draft day...next year

i thought..in my unconventional...thinking..that the mariners...could get..
baltimore...CBB..pick 65
Trimble, Reed
Southern Mississippi (MS)
OF
S/R
for CF at modesto...i knew they would have to get him in the 2nd round..or they would prob miss him..but the mariners went in a deferent direction..
and in hind sight ..prob the better one...other than missing...Schwartz, JT....it still works out ok so far...

laying ground work...for moving forward..as an organization...the mariners pick henry ..ford HS catcher..edwin arroyo..SS HS and michael morales p HS
with the 1,2and ,3 rd picks..all will prob be at AZL..for at least one year...the best HS guys ...are takin..in the top of the draft...
so.. waiting till later in the draft..would not do..( i should have listen to myself..when i posted that they needed a hs catcher..aye yi yi..but i did not..lololol)

soo..me

  1. painter
  2. trimble
  3. i also planed to take
oakland..round 4..pick..127
Clarke, Denzel
Cal State Northridge
at 3 with would have worked as well as a CF/RF

4 i planed on taking at 4..i think the mariners did as well..the mariners did take Miller, Bryce RHP
Schwartz, JT
my back up plan wa sIbarra, Ruben..or Glenn, Jackson who where both takin before the mariners next pick..( me crying of coarse..LOLOLOL)

5 mariners pick....me..yeah yeah yeah..whoo hoo yeah yeah yeah...lo,ololol
Thomas, Andy
Baylor (TX)
C

houston takes ..hamilton before..the mariners can pick..again.......me(cry cry cry)

baltimore takes Burns, Collin..before mariners can pick again...me (cry cry cry ....as usual )

6 mariners pick..Woo, Bryan..i knew of him..in the past ...on my list..i knew he was good but i did not have him on this one..but it is a good choice
seeing that burns was gone..i prob would have takin

Hostetler, Bennett
North Dakota State (ND)..who did not go till round 18 to miami..but i scouted him against nevada..and his arm and range looked ok for me..
he had an over throw..in that game to !st base...but i still would have takin him here ..he can prob be a 3b/2b as well..or a LF..which is why i would have takin him

7 mariners choose...good choice....i wanted him..i just had him lower ranked
Davis, Colin
Wofford (SC)
me
i was planning on taking
Jacob, Alek...LHP
Gonzaga (WA)..round 16 SD...really it seems to me..that the mariners..where looking for the same thing i was thinking...starter/bull pen guy
or
Lavallee, Johnathan..RHP
Long Beach State (CA..round 16 texas..same

one think to say ..here...the mariners have much more info...than i do...and access..to much better and more scouting reports...than i do..

8 mariners..i remember scouting him ......long ago what im not sure of is ..if he had an injury..and that effected his fld pct..but..i will have to look later..............cuz i already took hostetler..i prob would have takin ..Packard, Spencer..here ..rather than the next round
Parker, James
Clemson (SC)
SS

9 mariners.....good choice.....as i said....i wanted Davis, Colin..as a LF/Cf..but i would have had trimble playing CF....or LF...lololol..the thing is mariners took 2 Cf,,and they needed to...
Packard, Spencer
Campbell University (NC)

10 mariners ...good choice..i would have takin Meyers, Chris..who is really a 1B..not a ss.....but the fix .........was in......on that one
Jackson, Jordan
Georgia Southern (GA)
P

so..that is it...the mariners..did a better job...of..laying ground work for the future...than my greeeeed drafting..(amazingly...we ..did like some of the same players..more than i would have thought...so im good with it..).so now they look good down to AZL
that said..it never stops......jedi will prob get a 1B for AZL..when one comes..along..that is all i can see that they need....besides international..that is not till january or feb.....i will go fast ........threw the next ten later....
