We have 6 picks in the 5 rounds... I like this Mock that I found... I'd be ecstatic if we could land Hancock... He could be gone by the time we pick...

Man I don't know anything about the draft class this year....

I usually like to follow the minor leagues with the Mariners simply because we are always hoping for some good talent to come up and help the M's be a better team we always suck lol.. This year will be odd we might not get to see the new drafties get some time in the minors on top of that I would have loved to see how some of the prospects are developing.

so true. I worry about kids coming out of high school. Where do they start out at if you are closing down leagues?

Its a good question and one I don't think they have a good answer to. If the lower levels of the minors don't happen I would still want the young guys to be doing something baseball related, throwing, fielding, hitting, training etc.. It might end up being something like a baseball camp lol. Or an abbreviated "covid 2020" league in Peoria for a couple months with intersquad games and get the Padres involved. I don't know and obviously I am not thinking about the payment aspect of it but at least they would be getting baseball reps.

I don't know either. I really think baseball screwed themselves on this all to saves thousands while making millions. The good news about this whole thing is that we get to talk again on here with each other. Always great when I can chat with you after all these years together talking baseball or Mariners...I think that still counts as baseball...lol.
