#Ravens announce they waive veterans Michael Huff (signed a 3-year, $6M deal in spring) & Marcus Spears. Wonder it DAL looks at Spears again
Not messing around in Baltimore

this spring?

depending on how the contract was structured, Ozzie MAY have missed on this one?

Huff's release probably means that Elam was as good or close enough that Huff became expendable. I'm not sure if this was a miss on Ozzie's part more of a better ROI with Elam.

ok, similar to if Baalke cuts Dahl.

you lose some cap but nothing earth shattering.

Was Spears a salary cap cut? I can't find for how much he signed.

Pretty much the same minus that Huff is much better then Dahl

I would tend to agree with this. I still think the Ravens could have the best roster in the AFC, and I think they'll eventually turn it around and make some noise in the playoffs. I wouldn't mind maybe adding Huff to the squad' on the cheap to get some insight into big brothers's team. In fact, his stock will never be lower, and the Niners are going to need DBs next year (starters and depth). Why not sign him to a cheap, 2-year deal like they did Dorsey?

I'm even a little curious about Spears. Is he better than Damarcus Dobbs or Jerod-Eddie at this point? Injured?
