This sounds like typical/normal SportsHoopla logic? You win one game in the playoffs, regardless of anything else that you have done during the rest of your career, and you are Hall of Fame eligible.

Funny, considering two of his playoff years was wasted with your ex-playoff losing coach.

If the Seattle Mariners win a playoff game, I say let the whole damn team in any f$%^43g ring they want. Can Carson Palmer pitch? Asking for a scout.

When does Scooby-Doo go in?

Oh, Scoob's not worried about the ROH. As long as he can eat your 2 foot-thick sandwich in one bite when you're not looking, he's happy

I saw Spud Webb play with the Hawks and Dominique at the old Forum in LA in the late 80s. Good shit

I was playing blackjack like 18 years ago at Foxwoods in Ledyard Ct with Dominque and his brother Gerald. Dominque was playing on Greece, right before he came to play for the Celts and his brother was playing in Orlando/ They played behind us, so he wagered on my play and we played for about 3 hrs together, both good shits

I thought this was a Carson Wentz thread.

Then I realized Carson has never played a playoff game:doh:

What do people think Carson feels/thinks everytime he walks past the SB hero MVP statue07-simon-cowell-american-idol.w700.h700.jpg

Just goes to show you how thin that team is on options to induct into their "Ring of Honor" when they put a guy like Carson Palmer in it. Dude only played for them for 5 years, and just 2 of those years were actually good seasons. Yet that was enough for them to put him into their club of all-time greats in franchise history, and they waited just one full season of him being out of football to do it lol.

I do agree he should not be given such an honor, but I get why they are doing it. Aside from the few milestones he did achieve on the field, he was a prominent figure in the community and does a lot off the field. Aside from that, the team is going through a huge transition and they are doing whatever possible to garner interest.

I think every team has someone questionable in the ROH. I’m not sure who is in the Vikings, but there has got to be someone that was debatable.

I enjoyed the years Palmer was here. The team was fun to watch, but ROH is a huge stretch.

Exactly... But I'd rather have an empty ring of honor compared to filling it with something like this. It's not a good look at all.

Not really, you just have to change the name.

As much as I hate to say it, Randy Moss being in the Vikings ROH is kind of questionable to me. He was only with the team for just a bit over 7 seasons. He had a shiitty attitude half the time, and played a significant role in the demise of his 2nd stint here in 2010 despite how he/the organization blame Brad Childress 100% for it. Moss was in fact a massive douche bag and probably deserved what Chilly did to him by cutting him, and was the least of Chilly's faults that finally resulted in him getting canned. Moss made it for no other reason than being among the most electrifying players of all time during the half of his career he spent there.
