The Huskers came to play today. I really wanted to get that shutout, but the win is good enough.

Turnover's
Defense being average
Offense not sustaining drives
Time of possession

I enjoyed today's game but it only makes the losses that much more sour in my stomach.

Our defense backed off again today too when we got up. They have got to learn to finish off teams when they have them down. This should of been a shut out which would of helped us a lot in the polls.

That should change next year because nearly the entire starting offense is returning. Good thing. They will have to carry the team next year. We are mediocre on defense and losing 4 of our best defensive players to graduation won't help.

By the way, I would love for Bo to succeed. I just don't see the characteristics of say an Urban Meyer that will allow Bo the humility and foresight to see what he needs to do to take us to the Promised Land. Prove me wrong Bo.

You seem to think you are responsible for quite a few things such as what language we can use and what logic we must use.

The problem with that is there is a fucking flaw in your logic.

You seem to assume that the team had to make the mistakes it made. This is the furthest thing from the truth. When they come out and control teams then make these mistakes against lesser caliber opponents then no they should not have lost those games. When they show a pattern of controlling followed by coming out flat then no they should not have lost to those teams.
They came out and played well in one instance and fell flat in the next and repeated this more than once. They did not compete in these instances.

As for giving up on the team because we dare to question the caliber of play means we gave up? Because we are disappointing in our record this year we gave up on them?

We have to remember fella's. We were built for the high flying pass happy conference of the Big XII.
I think once the new assistant coaches get acclimated to what Coach Bo want's, it'll help tremedously. Now I don't know for certain that there was any issue's with the newbies on staff, but the lack of improvement this year on the defensive side compared to season's past, make's me think something was up, maybe it's just injuries, maybe not. I'm hoping we see some major improvement from now till the bowl game, 4-5 weeks away. As JJM mentioned; give the guy's some time to heal up.

On offense the fluidity just hasn't been there. Some play's we look like we're all on the same page and other's, it's like we're not even in the same book. I'm not quite sure why. Is it a learning curve with Tim's new offense or does it lie deeper than that?

And then there's the question's why we didn't see some player's this year as expected. I can semi-understand why Bo doesn't elude to why it is what it is. Only time will tell if we can over come some of the obsticle's placed in front of the team as it moves forward.
