I think that they can keep both long term, but it would cost them some other major pieces (Staal, Letang, Fleury) IMO.

Ask him outright if it was better than winning the Stanley Cup. He'll say no. He's said that his whole career that Cups are what he cares about. Mama Malkin said those are the only pictures he has in the house (him with the Cup)...no individual awards.

I think that the $52m number is right. The cap hit might be slightly higher than you mentioned at less than a mil per year.
