I blame some of his struggles in 2015 because of the coaching change, coupled with our secondary went to shit due to the scheme change. I'm surprised Maliek went this high even though he struggled a bit. I'm certain our coaches and scouts got a real good look back when we drafted Gregory. Maliek will make a good 3, and he has experience playing 2 gap. He was so good in our old system, he was allowed to kick outside on occasion and rush the passer. I am interested to see how signing him may impact Gregory.

I was looking for your take on this guy....the tape last night showed a pretty darn good push.
Does he have a motor and plays through the whistle?
What do you mean by impact on Gregory?

Collins once squatted 785 pounds that's impressive
Not as much as Larry Allen's dead lift but still impressive

has quickness which Coach Marinelli most likely loved

Maliek has a good motor, but he got heavier in 2015 and didn't flash the same speed he had when he played at 300. Plus, the D couldn't get off the field, so he got worn down.
What I meant by his impact on Gregory has to do with the stability and friendship factors. As far as I know, Maliek hasn't tested positive for pot use. So being around him off the field could be a positive.

Theme for Saturday was to take players whose play deterioted from their Sophmore/Junior years to their years in college. Picked these guys at higher spots than most had them. No value picks for Jerrah.

tapper and cook could flourish under Marinelli and lett. tapper looks part. long arms and fast. he uses horrible technique though. if he is coached could be decent.
