It's a valid point, though.

Teams playing in the domes/WC, or south where the weather is usually better than not, will have an advantage.

That being said, I'm a big proponent of going for 2pt each time, anyway, so the change doesn't really matter much to me personally.

teams should have to move back another 5 yards for each successful 1-xp.
first TD 15 yards
second TD 20 yards
third TD 25 yards
and so on.

problem is they can't do the math.

If they were deadest on changing it, the most logical idea would be to try the PAT from the yard line of the scoring play.

And if its a defensive, special teams, or really long touchdown play, designate a specific line for the attempt like the 20, 25 or 30 yard line

Why? Just because the % will be lower in cold weather cities doesn't make it unfair -- Opponents will also have to deal with the weather. We never hear people bitching about field goals being unfair in cold weather or offensive efficiency being unfair.

in K-1st grade football, there aren't any punters or field goal kickers and the game flows pretty much the same. Just don't call it football, since you know, no one uses their feet to kick the ball.

Are the 'dome teams' not also kicking outdoors when they're playing @ AFCN teams? I am struggling to see how it is an advantage if the field of play is the same for both teams :noidea:

I agree 100% with this. If anything, this still actually plays in favor of the cold weather outdoor team because they will be used to kicking in that crap, so a team like Indy or Minnesota will have to travel on the road to a cold weather team outdoors and try to kick XP in weather and now from a further distance. I don't see how this does not favor a outdoor team in December and January. If anyone should be bitching it is the dome teams.
