"Depth of the teams you are playing."

Depth is easily placed into 5 categories.

Teams from P5 Leagues.
Teams from Upper Mid Majors
Teams from Lower Mid majors
Teams in the Top 30 of 1-AA
Teams from the other 1-AA's

Now sub-topics would be the quality of each individual team. Playing Oregon State
is not the same as playing Clemson, even though both are from P5 leagues. But Oregon
State players are still gonna present a challenge because they have players who are
geared for physical football.

Go to a 1-AA game. Watch the warm-ups. The starters look like college football players.
But the third teamers and below look like 13th graders.

You are from Orlando. Go watch Stetson play one week. Their first team is OK vs the
folks that they play but their third team would be physically overmatched vs Deland HS
or Sanford Seminole HS.

P5 teams have size, speed and strength throughout their entire roster. The bad teams
have more of a severe problem with mental attitude or lack of experience. But they all
look alike when they come on the field.

The players don't all look alike below Power 5 when they come on the field.

It's an educational techinque - when people don't understand something or are too hard headed on their wrong idea, you give them an analogy that might allow them to see the light and actual UCFacts.

Some people are just too UCFoolish to even understand simplification and analogies.

BTW your #1 & #2 above are double speak and logical contradictions.

Go take a lap, and cool down.

#UCFacts

I'm really not sure why you are so desperate to draw negative attention to UCF, but good luck.

One of the biggest Myths in CFB is that good teams have bigger players. That is completely false. Size is a function of scheme that you play.

I see a lot of teams in the biggest O lines that are top25 teams. 11 of the 18 are top25 I believe.

I see no top25 teams in the smallest.

You're hopeless if you see any type of correlation in list of biggest and smallest OLines in 2018.

#1 UMass as in FCS UMass who went 4-8 UMass.

Go take a lap.

Oh you still don’t understand how FCS doormat UMass being on top of the list of biggest linemen destroys the idea the only good teams have big players?

Sometimes I forget what is obvious to college graduates has to be explained to tshirt bandwagoners.

Now you know about size myth of cfb.

Have no idea what to expect this year. Hope they win more games than last year. I know I've said this before but it's been a long time since I've looked forward to another Browns season. How things have changed since Jackson & Haley were fired.

You mean you have to get more than an offensive line to have a good football team? Wow, what advanced shit you talk about.

Meanwhile, 11 of the 18 teams listed there were top25 teams, while none of the bottom teams were. So obviously it matters.

Again, I'm not sure why you are so desperate to make UCF look bad. You keep saying you're an alum, that you know all these high level people, go to their practices etc, and then you come out in public and just make them all look bad. If you were an Alabama fan, I'd bet you were just an Auburn fan pretending(it happens on other forums) because nobody would publicly shame their own team/school to the level you do every day.

Are you that Jake bitch on an alt?

The difference between a beauty contest and an actual competition with rules is that the former's purpose is to identify and validate superior talent. Beauty contests will use only those facts that back up their claims about which teams are better. An actual competition's purpose is to determine a winner based on which team best accomplishes what the rules in play value. Superior talent is only an advantage toward's that end. For example, suppose teams are placed by adding their win % and their opponents' win %. If a P5 and G5 both go undefeated and their opponents are both .500, those two teams would be tied prior to any subsequent tiebreakers. The beauty contest fans will object because everyone "knows" the P5 team and its opponents are better. I'll stipulate to their claim and state that it has no bearing on the value of their results. The advantage to being better and playing better competition is that such teams achieve the desired winning percentages at a much higher rate. That is their reward for being better. However, in those instances when a team and its opponents, perhaps misjudged or as bad can be, overcome any disadvantages and post objectively equal results, they get value. A beauty contest format will ignore facts when those facts don't back up claim subjective claims even though the facts were never intended to serve that purpose.

Well said, my UCFriend.

I swear these tshirt bandwagoner just want games to be played on paper.

Real fans like us want to see actual games. And competition to see who is better on the field.

These tshirt bandwagoners can’t seem to understand that all stats and metrics can say a team has an advantage or should be better but that all goes out the window when winners and losers play on the UCField.

Mystery solved.

Well, this explains a lot ... if you've been banned or banished from the Rivals Main Board, you really have to be a moron. This place, with friendly banter, at least was a place one could come for some meaningful discussion. If it is infected by Rivals tMB rejects, the collective board IQ will drop dramatically. For example, UCFDoucheBag keeps trolling, even when 4Down20 points out that he maintained a web page for years where he published SOS and other stats. Haven't always agreed with him, but he knows his SOS stuff.
