Friggin Boots Del Biaggio strikes again leaving Luc responsible for a $2 million dollar line of credit. The bank has foreclosed on his LA home and he's auctioning off some of his hockey stuff to raise some funds he says are going to charity (taking the high road as always).

I saw this last week when it was on tmz.com

a couple days later one of puck daddys writers had an interview with Luc and the interview talked about Luc auctioning off alot of his hockey memorabilia and the playoffs but never once touched on the foreclosure

so everyone and their dog asked in the comments section of the story:
"why didnt you ask him about the foreclosure?"

I don't know that Boots could have fucked over a nicer guy. Luc was/is the epitome of class.

Luc's auction stuff was for charity not for his house. The Kings will make sure he doesn't lose it.

Tim Leiweke, president of the Kings' parent company, AEG, said via email that AEG is working with Luc Robitaille and the former player's wife, Stacia.

"This issue," said Leiweke, "is short term, very fixable and will not have an impact on Luc's responsibilities with the L.A. Kings."

Luc is a stand-up guy, who definitely doesn't deserve this fate. It's either his grandparents or an uncle who own this little candy shop the next town up from where I live... in Carpinteria. It is full of his memorabilia, wonder if its been auctioned off as well.
