You're right, there were two and he should be fined, but I hope in no way are you comparing his actions with Gilles. Lucic plays hard and made two bonehead plays (I don't think he meant to do the first one), But being stupid for a moment or two and being the cheap shot scum Gilles is are two totally different arguments.

I'm not comparing him to Gillies. My point is Campbell has different rules for different players as we all know. I hope Gillies never wears the Islanders jersey again.

Damn you jstew, the Tigers beat the Giants in the WHL final two weeks prior meaning the only reason the Giants even got a sniff of the Memorial Cup is because they were hosting the tourney.

Lucic was a man amongst boys, though.

I have two opinions on this. First of all don't blame Harry Sinden because the Nucks GM was an idiot. Second and most importantly, we NEVER want a player with that last name here in Boston

Two damn good teams going at it that year. One of the best WHL finals in recent memory. I still maintain that the 07 Tigers were slightly better than the 07 Giants despite the fact they didn't come away with the Memorial Cup.

It's too bad that the Memorial Cup has exploded into a huge money making event in recent years where a 6000+ capacity rink is necessary to host. The Tigers deserve to get one with the quality teams they've had the last decade.
