There should be no alternates, you do go to the Pro Bowl you don't get replaced.

When they started holding the pro bowl the week BEFORE the Superbowl, they basically eliminated players from what should be the two best teams, maybe the four best teams because it's right after the conference playoff games.

But, what's the use of playing a football game where the main objective is to not get hurt, or hurt anyone else?

They could just eliminate the Pro Bowl and very few fans would miss it.

Well there wouldnt be a probowl then. (which might be a good thing)
But even with that. Ever since they made it a popularity contest (name recognition) there have been times where a guy makes All-Pro but didnt make the pro bowl. Pro Bowls nowadays are just a joke.

Although with your way. If they did away with the game altogether & just had some kind skill competitions for all the positions would be okay.

There is no way that list is accurate. I figured Seattle would have the most playoff success with Wilson at QB. At least in the last 9 years.
