shit,,,the cars are around 800hp and there are plenty of fueds going on every season,,,,plenty of bumping and rubbing goes on and some unbelieveable wrecks,,,,,,,,,,,these are still some pretty bad cars,,,,,,,200mph running a foot apart these guys aren't pansies

I went to Indy from 1996-2010. I missed the last two

I will go back this year though.

I also used to go to the short lived IRL race in Richmond. That was like f-18s racing in a high skill gym. Crazy exciting!

I'm not looking to start any on-going strife here: I just wanted to have a place to discuss other forms of motorsports without feeling like I'm 'intruding' on your area & trying to turn the conversation away from what you want to talk about.

i liked nascar back in the late 60's early 70's ..lost interest when they made too many rules... I gained interest in grad prix when I went to my first spanish grand prix when I was stationed there
