You are kind of all over the place here. I'm not saying anything....I'm going by the same computer rankings last year provided by Gator you want to use this year. Are you now suggesting all we can use to measure conferences is how many CFP teams they get? The other 11 or 15 teams don't matter?
OOC games for this season are all we have to go by. all we had to go by last year, as well......until the postseason games. But those told a different story and also were played among more evenly matched teams in many cases.
No. I'm saying top to bottom the SEC is the best conference this season. It's not particularly close in that regard. You said you only care about CFP contenders. So I brought up that the SEC will get more teams in this season. As opposed to last season.
You can reselect teams after the fact. You can only go by what has happened in the regular season. Should a 9-3 USC or Michigan have gotten in the CFP because Ole Miss might have lost in the first round. No, and that's a dumb argument. That's why OOC games are important. USC and Michigan would be sitting pretty (like A&M and Ole Miss) has they won their OOC matchups.
