I think you're actually right to an extent. This was the RRSO where no matter their record, anything can happen. Texas has come close to winning this one in games where they were just God awful. I absolutely think Texas is better now than in previous seasons but I still think 3 losses is a very big possibility.

Hey, some of us have had to live our entire sporting lives waiting for something bad to happen, being prepared for it, and then having it actually be worse than we anticipated.

Now Texas fans haven't always been in this camp, but I can give them a little grace lately. They've gotten "un-used to winning"
