I'm skipping all the way here because I'm noticing some things. In 25, the Rams split Titans/Eagles, Colts/49ers, Panthers/Cards. They swept Seahawks/Bucs, swept Ravens/Jaguars(not really a road game), and lost both to Seahawks and Falcons. 49ers swept Seahawks/Saints(Saints much weaker matchup after), split Cards/Jags, Rams/Bucs, Texans/Giants, and Bears/Seahawks. Seahawks split Rams/Titans. However, they swept Colts/Rams and Panthers/49ers when their path was clear.
Now 2026
I'm doing Cards for only one situation
Cardinals
Commanders/Eagles/Jets
The only thing that stands out here is the back to back home games against teams from the same division. Four of the last five teams have split, and that team that didn't were the Browns. It's worth pointing out.
They also have Raiders and 49ers at home 17 and 18, which is also interesting. Wondering if they screw up the Niners.
Rams
49ers/Giants
Remember what happened to the Eagles when they played the Falcons after Brazil in 24? That's a concern I have for the Rams against the Giants.
Broncos/Eagles
It's a tough challenge to win both these games. The Rams are all out for the number one seed in the NFC, and they have to pull through something like this. Now factor in the Australia trip and back to back road games and ask yourself if the Rams are getting out of this 4-0. If they do....
Bills/Cardinals
They'll get bit by the Bills.
Commanders/Cardinals
A cross-country road trip. Even if Cards are terrible, the Rams could face a test before the bye.
Packers/Chiefs
Are the Rams going 2-0 here? The Chiefs have the Bills before the Rams. If not for difficulty all across the board I would say no. But Chiefs/Rams was already debatable.
Seahawks/Bucs
I truly expect a split here but LA could win both and rest up. They'll split with Seattle.
Out of those, 2-3 losses likely.
Seahawks
Cardinals/Commanders
This was what I came across. Commanders get Seahawks at an opportune time. Not saying it will happen...
Chargers/49ers
Are they starting out 5-0?
Chiefs/Bears/Cardinals
Sorry, the Chiefs or Bears are stealing one here.
Cowboys/Giants
The Vikings beat both on the road consecutively. The Broncos beat both. The Cardinals in 2023 split, though. Seven of the last nine beat both or, in one instance with 17' Chiefs, lost to both. The Seahawks usually have the Cowboys' number in Seattle, but it will be short rest against Giants before another short rest against the Eagles.
Panthers/Rams
Another 2-0 here like with Panthers and 49ers?
Schedule looks a lot tougher now. I can easily see 3 losses here not counting the Rams.
