Look out for the LA Kings

They pulled off a trade to get Mike Richards from Philly. Wow I was shocked, that came out of nowhere. Seems like Dean wants to get the Kings a cup very soon. The Kings have a solid forward and d group, but I wonder if Dustin Brown is on his way out?

This one move has just made the Pacific Divion one hella tough division.

I viewed Richards as the 2nd line center. I don't think they'll have both on the same line. Can either of them play the wing effectively???

LA is my favorite for the division. Kopitar-Richards-Stoll down the middle is really really good. Throw in wingers like Brown, williams, Penner, Smyth (who may be gone soon) and you've got a legit top 6 or 7 forwards. They might need a guy like moller or clifford to evolve into a top 9 forward, but that could happen.

Then you get to their D, which is a very solid crew:
Doughty, Johnson, Scuderi, Mitchell, Greene is a legit top 5 and alec martinez is improving nicely. It's not as fearsome to me as vancouver or chicago, but it's far better than the sharks.

The kings are gunna be damn good next year.

The Sharks are still the favorite for the division and will continue to be until someone can take it from them. IMO LA is still another legitimate scorer away from being a Stanley Cup contender.

Finally made it here! I doubt either Kopitar and Richards will be playing wing. Finally we have a legit No. 2 center. It's been along since we have been this strong at center. Now if we can get a T6 LW!!! I was bummed we had to give up Schenn, but you have to give to get and I wish him the best of luck.
