I wonder if any caps fans really care that it looks like Vokoun isn't happy with his new location/contract?
lulz
Well, I don't know if firing his agent means that. It certainly means he wasn't happy with his agent.
He might be pleased with where he is, but dissatisfied with the job his agent did in landing him a higher paying job PRIOR to the signing with the Caps. I don't know how his agent didn't have him out there more as THE top goalie free agent before free agency even began.
Tough to say. I'm not concerned though. He's going to play his best and try to help his team go as far as they can.
while you are laughing, consider that his agent offered Vokoun to the the Red Wings for the same deal.

Vokoun himself wouldn't take that amount in Detroit because he would not be guaranteed even half of the starts.
Really? I think he is a better goalie than Howard, and I say that with no disrespect to Jimmy.
Plus Osgood retired
And speaking of Ozzie, he will still continue to educate Jimmy for years to come.
What's he going to teach him? How to drive a well oiled, highly tuned, balanced tired Porsche without crashing?
