That's unfair. Remember the crap I took for taking him 7th overall from the fantasy gurus on here. Now this year they could laugh at that pick. I simply think the guy the guy gets a pass.

you say others give him a pass for ignoring his bad plays, but you point out nothing but his bad plays. How is that different?

It's like this- you may remember - I posted an MVP poll about week 6 on the NFL general board. I simply asked who was the MVP so far. The people I included were Brady, Dalton, Cam, Hopkins, Freeman. I left off Rogers because he had two subpar games vs the Rams and 49ers. I expected bacKlash from the Packer fans but one would have thought I shot the Pope from the crap I took from even the Cowboy fans . Of course the only people that sided with me were Pats fans. Posters said that the poll lacked credibility because he wasn't in it. LOL

When you posted that thread, leaving Rodgers off was asinine, plain and simple. Is he the MVP now? No but at the time he was in the conversation. If you want an honest answer to a poll, make an honest poll.

That was an honest polL. I was being as fair as possible. If you remember I added him and I think he won the damn thing. Maybe the Pats fans came through- I could be wrong. The guy had a good TD/Int ratio. He had thrown for like the 20th most yards in the league. Best players don't always win the MVP.

I didn't. All I said is the guy gets a pass. I have said before - he comes off to me as an arrogant prick. I think he threw his coaches and some players under the bus after the Seattle game in which he had some fault of his own. Kind of like his year this year- he lost Jordy so the whole offense goes to shit. If he is as great as many think, the loss of Jordy shouldn't have this much effect. The guy has won one Super Bowl. Peyton Manning has won one Super Bowl and gets blasted every year as a choker. I get it he doesn't throw INTs and he is a great player. But to me there is a double standard in many ways for him

Best QB in the game today by a lot. I don't change my opinions based on one year or weeks stats.

So when you made the thread Rodgers had a 15-2 TD to INT ratio, had a QB rating of 99 or above in 5 of 6 games and his team was 6-0. Still going with no agenda leaving him off?

Absolutely. His team was 6-0. Others were 7-0. Brady and Daltons stats were better. Cam was 6-0 with basically nothing to throw to. Hopkins and Freeman were having amazing years. I didnt think my selections should go over 5 . Now that I have gone back and looked at the stats- Rodgers had come off of 3 subpar games, not 2. Be careful with that rating thing.

forget the rating. 6-0 & 15/2 without his Pro Bowl WR. Trying to state he wasn't in the mix is nothing but being subjective. THAT is why you were ripped by almost EVERYONE in the thread.
