Marvel just announced that Loki and Scarlet Witch will each get their own TV series to promote Disney's new streaming service, with Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen actually playing the parts!

Yeah, it's a shame Quicksilver was killed off in Avengers 2. He was way underused in the MCU.

But there's good news: considering that both Loki and Scarlet Witch are dead --- yes, I know it is very possible that Avengers 4 might resurrect them, but it might also not --- these TV series could very well be prequels.

And if these TV shows are prequels, then there's some chance we will see Quicksilver back!

Alternatively, even if these TV shows aren't prequels, considering the rumors about time travel being used to change the past in Avengers 4, it is also possible that Quicksilver will get resurrected by the changing timeline as well.

That wouldn’t change. Olsen is already on board for the project (according to the link). I am saying that the MCU Witch jumps universe’s to meet up with Peters’ X-verse Quicksilver (or Peters jumps to the MCU).

If they want to merge the franchises, that is a way to introduce the crossover.

He is by far the better Quicksilver. Most of it is because he was written so damn shitty in Avengers movies (probably because they decided to kill him but still). The Fox produced X-Men movies actually gave him some character and personality.

Variety is now reporting a third series planned, this one featuring Falcon and the Winter Soldier! Unlike the case with Loki and Scarlet Witch, Sam and Bucky will be co-starring in their series rather than each getting an individual series.

It makes sense. It seems like for Phase 4 and beyond, they want to develop newer characters for the movies and phase out a lot of the older ones. Them being together in the series is fine since I don't think that either one could carry a film by themselves and are both tied together by being Cap's friend.

SlashFilm claims a source is saying that Vision will co-star in the Scarlet Witch series. This isn't as confirmed as the rest of the announced information in earlier posts.

Do all of these heroes need tv series? I agree, the Scarlet Witch/Vision storyline would make a good tv show. But I don't think Falcon/Winter Soldier would be a good show and Loki as a standalone character will garner views, but won't be a good story.

This rumor I'm really skeptical about. First, I'm doubtful that Samuel L. Jackson would be willing to do a TV series given his age and that he's never been main cast on a live-action TV series in his entire long, long career. Second, the premise may be too similar to the already-existing Agents of SHIELD.
