This reminds me of when I was telling someone that I kept getting two song titles mixed up between the same artist.

My friend said "dude, one is a hard song, one is softer".

After he said that, it made it easy to remember. I hadn't noticed that until he said it.

My friend in elementary school was telling me that the Father of the Bride was violent. I told him he was mistaking it for The Godfather. I know my Steve Martin movies. He was insistent that he wasn’t mistaken, saying it was the older version. There is an older Father of the Bride movie, but it’s not violent, either.
