I honestly can't tell if you still haven't made the connection that the PGA Championship isn't run by or associated with the PGA Tour or not.

Brooks is one of 2 LIV guys that are a legitimate threat in the majors. His performance this year in the majors is really no different than when he was on tour. Didn't really give a crap about any other PGA event and doesn't really give a crap about any LIV event. Cam Smith is the other LIV guy. He talked about how he completely lost focus with the switch to LIV. He honestly should be dominating LIV.

I couldn't care less about most of the guys who went with LIV, but there are a few I miss. Brooks and Cam are two of them. As much as I can't stand him, I also miss Bryson.

I do wish all tournaments were as competitive as the majors are with all the stars. It sucks that so much of the talent went for the big payday over at LIV but I really can't blame them for it.

It's FOMO, it's a hip new thing to counter the old established status quo and if it does explode in popularity he can claim he was there from the beginning.
