Greg Bell, RB, San Diego State (per On3sports.com): Went the juco route because of academics, then transferred to Nebraska before moving on to San Diego State in search of playing time, but then missed the entire 2019 season after a resistance band snapped and hit him in the eye.

If you miss an entire year. Imagine how bad that must of hurt.

Holmes doled out some extra signing bonus money to four of those UDFA. I hope that extra cash to the two O-Lineman works in his favor.

Seems like they think Jarvis can replace Kraemer. I am interested to see Eze.

Logan Stenberg hasn't had one offensive Line snap in a regular season game during the two years he's been in Detroit. I'd be worried if I were him. Also, he was a BQ draft pick, so Holmes has no ties to him in that regard.

Stenberg looked very good during the pre-season last year at LG, but not so much when he had reps at RG. He played his entire collegiate career at LG.

I'm not at all familiar with Jarvis.

I'm a little bit surprised QB Strong ended up in Philly.

I wonder if Holmes tried at all to sign him as an UDFA. On paper and game film, Strong looks better than either Boyle or Blough in my opinion. Also, Strong would've fit our offense as he's more of a pocket passer. Strong led the pack for guaranteed base salary and total monies guaranteed.

You'll have to scroll halfway down the page if you're interested in seeing what some of the highest paid UDFA received in guaranteed monies.

Lions UDFA WR Corey Sutton 6'3" 205 lbs.
No speed or agility numbers exist on RAS for Sutton

“The thing that I want them to know is that I’m all-in,” Sutton tells me during a recent sit down with Pro Football Network. “I’m 100% locked in on this. It’s all about getting better. Whatever team gets me, I feel like they’re going to get a really mature, disciplined wide receiver and person. I’m going to come in and work, and the only goal at this point is to win a Super Bowl. I’ve been a part of winning teams my whole life, and I expect to win at the next level as well.”

Despite playing for three seasons, Sutton’s name is etched across the Appalachian State record books. His 24 touchdowns are third in program history. Meanwhile, his 2,278 receiving yards are sixth-most for the program, despite having the eighth-most receptions. The point there, he’s produced more than his opportunity.

The imposing playmaker earned the moniker of “Most Dangerous Deep Threat” in the Sun Belt after snagging 23 catches of 30+ yards during his time at Appalachian State. Yet, for all his accolades, the most impressive thing about talking with Sutton is that he hasn’t rested on his success. Rather than bask in the reflective glow, he focuses on what he can do better. Ahead of the NFL Draft, he always wants to be better.

Right, all Sun Belt Conference players are horrible?

I'm hoping a few more UDFA, if they can truly become good to very good rotational players, that can make our depth of players stronger when we have the injury bug come a calling.

Yeah, left because he wanted more snaps, then went to Kansas State to punch a woman.
I’m sure his parents instilled the value of being calm, patient and understanding. Shocked to hear he’s made poor decisions.
