What would be your top end guess on the Lions Win/Loss Record?
I think the bad receivers just give gim an excuse. We could have prime Rice and Moss and Goff is still going to check it down. Now people can claim its notnhis fault.I feel bad for Goff.
He didn’t deserve this.
Even if he did bang McVeigh’s old lady.
Maybe he would check down if he had an NFL receiver other than Ty Williams. But I don’t know, since he doesn’t have one.I think the bad receivers just give gim an excuse. We could have prime Rice and Moss and Goff is still going to check it down. Now people can claim its notnhis fault.
No need to worry... first year coaching staff and starting QB. It'll be like Old Times during the Matt Millen era... the West Coast Offense (with lots of yardage and few touchdowns) that needs to out score the Lions Defense. The Refs might even help the Lions win a game.If Goff gets hurt, this is possibly the worst Lions team. And I don’t even know if he’s an average starting QB.
Maybe, but how good are we talking? because the Rams couldn't get him to stop either. Goff is just a check down qb.Maybe he would check down if he had an NFL receiver other than Ty Williams. But I don’t know, since he doesn’t have one.

I would not go that far but I agree Goff is probably not the answer long term. I had a bigger issue with starters not playing at all in the pre season. They looked rusty. Especially on defense. I was not expecting much from the offense. Matt Nelson destroyed any potential passing game and He and Vaitai did not hold up the right side at all.
When Decker comes back we are going to have a real issue. Sewell was what we expected once he got to go back to his side, and he still only 20. Decker needs to shift to the right, or he needs to go.
I would hate for him to miss his coverage at an even slower speed....Detroit Lions CB Jeff Okudah suffered torn Achilles tendon vs. San Francisco 49ers
Jeff Okudah's 2021 season is over after he ruptured Achilles tendon in Detroit Lions' 41-33 loss to San Francisco 49ers. His future is in question.www.freep.com
And a study published by the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society in 2017 reported that of the 78 Achilles tendon ruptures suffered by pro football players in the 2010-2015 NFL seasons, 26% of the players never played football again.
Barnes went out with an injury on a special teams paly and we never heard again, do we know how serious that was?We only need (2) high-end starters at each of the following positions : @ ILB, outside CB and S
Maybe Barnes and Pittman prove worthy at some point during the season
would still need solid depth behind both of them
not to mention (2) solid depth @ OT, 1-2 solid depth at OG
might as well mention top notch starters at X and Z WR while we're at it
Thats what I said during off and pre season and some folks here gave me crap. When Decker comes back we are going to have a real issue. Sewell was what we expected once he got to go back to his side, and he still only 20. Decker needs to shift to the right, or he needs to go.
Okudah was not playing football before he got injured so....Detroit Lions CB Jeff Okudah suffered torn Achilles tendon vs. San Francisco 49ers
