We will either get blown out or pull of a miraculous unexpected upset. Smart money is on the former but I want to see if they come out with anything new after the bye.

Cool, so we are spending all of that money @RobBase has made over the last 11 years on this one particular game.

Steelers are a full-on struggle-bus... Wildly inconsistent. Offense is near the bottom in PPG, and they are routinely relying on their defense to bail them out. And that defense just gave up 287yds in a single half to the 32nd ranked Bears offense operating with a rookie under center. 414 total yards.

I wouldn't call it an upset if the Lions win. Steelers have been surviving games, not really winning. Lions just need to capitalize on the Steelers mistakes and they'll be in position to win. Steelers offense labors through every drive with a crap OL. They aren't dangerous by any means.

At least Ben can bail you out. Goff is getting worse every game. I was hoping we would claim OBJ to at least have a second decent WR.

If the Lions can score 20-28 points then the Steelers will be in trouble.

Sure, put the game out of reach.... week one is the only time the Lions got over 20 points and that was against a prevent defense. Besides, the officials will step in before they let the Lions win against the Steelers.

Would a waiver claim affect our comp picks? We lost Golladay as a high tender FA so we could get decent comp pick, but if we signed a FA to a high $ contract that would cancel outta comp pick. I don't honestly know how waiver claims fit into that process.

Ty Williams released on injury settlement

TE Fells asked and received his release

TE Brock Wright signed to the 53 man roster

S Jalen Elliot signed to the 53 man roster - I'd like to see him receive reps in place of Will Harris

Tom Kennedy released

AR-SB evidently is going to be playing more "Z" flanker than slot - 294/355 snaps have been as Slot WR

Kalif Raymond will primarily be "X" WR throughout the remainder of the season - That's pretty damn sad

Reynolds established chemistry with current Lions starting quarterback Jared Goff, recording 113 receptions, 1450 yards (average 12.5 yards per reception), and nine touchdowns.

If acquired off waivers, Reynolds’ contract will be picked up by the claiming team. While fully guaranteed, only a portion of the contract is still owed. The Titans absorb his $750,000 signing bonus, as well as $500,000 of his base salary that was paid over the first half of the season. That leaves just $500,000 remaining on the contract for the claiming team to pay over the final nine weeks of the season.

Waived players do not count in the Comp pick formula.

Sewell to RT. He might have to stay there too with how bad he was at LT. Hopefully he adjusts and can be successful there. That would be a huge help.

I laughed when Fells asked for his release. He must have gotten wind that Wright was coming up and knew he would be benched if not waived.

I would not mind seeing Elliot too.

Kennedy should be back on the PS unless some team grabs him.

He has to be better then the dung we are putting out there now. Raymond is playing out of position so that needs to change by next year. He is the only WR worth his salt right now. Even ARSB is not impressing but he gets a pass for being a rookie.

He's had his roller-coaster ride for sure but he has gotten much better after the first 3-4 games.

Although Raymond is short, he's the only WR who has the speed to stretch the defense - not that it matters since Goff only has the arm strength to throw it within 12 yards of the L.O.S.
