Huge game today. Winner takes at least the #2 seed and a first round bye, possibly even the #1 seed in the NFC is the Squwaks lose this afternoon.
The Lions haven't been in this position since... let's see... um... carry the one... uh, I'll get back to you on that. Let's just say this is the biggest game for us in the last 20 years...
It may not be in this type of game because the Lions are already in the playoffs, they are not fighting for their lives. They could decide to play it safe if they get behind early which could lead to a blowout. Hopefully we get a little ahead early and keep it low scoring.
This 10000000%. GB's offense has been unreal at home. I think they said last night they are averaging 42 points a game at home this year.
Detroit's offense is going to have to put up some touchdowns in this game. As much as I love how our defense is playing -- Rodgers is going to be able to audible out of play calls at the line. I think we are going to see a game plan that looked a lot like the one used by the Pats, as Rodgers is one of only a select few who has intelligence and accuracy to pull it off.
As much as I'd like to see the Lions establish the run, etc. -- I hope they open with a hurry up offense and try to get on the board first. I think it will settle the team down and make for a great game. If GB scores 1st -- I think it could get ugly.
I'm not going to make a prediction on the final score, but I will say -- Detroit will have to put up 3 or 4 tds to win this game I think.
Hoping to see this Lions team show up in all facets. Last week the ST's was awful, The offense was average at best. The defense played well enough down the stretch. We're going to need to play very well in each facet to try and sneak out a win @Lambeau.
Get to Rodgers early and often.
Move the sticks. Try to keep Rodgers as a spectator for as long as possible. TOP needs to be in the Lions favor.
