You're not a true, " Honolulu Blue ", Lions fan then if you couldn't stay until the end.

It was obvious they were purposely tanking. Driskell almost won a game and was put on IR with a strain.

“Obviously, the more pass-rushers the better, right? You want to get after the quarterback. But I think we always talk about: Is it pass rush, or if the coverage is a little better, will the pass rush get there? So it’s always a combination – then you throw in:
The Vikings a few years or so ago had a strong front seven but a weak secondary. They're defense was exposed in yardage but not so much in points. Naturally, the coverage was better on a shorter field.

But I think it’s always a combination of those things when you really evaluate the whole body of work in terms of trying to get after the quarterback”
Right, if the QB is able to pitch a tent and fish all day even an elite secondary will be exposed. Battles are won and lost in the trenches!!

I still think the whole injury thingy (for the most part) was an evaluation of all the players on the roster.

Which Super-Bowl did that defense get them in ?

Not even in this scheme are the battles in the trenches won.

They lost all year long in the trenches on both sides but the majority of losses came on the defensive side and until this dumbass of a HC changes his scheme those losses will continue.

If Lions blitz some and actually generate pressure it will be me that is pitching a tent.

Highest pressure rate in the NFL among interior defenders in 2019:

1. Javon Hargrave - 15.1%

2. Chris Jones -15.0% '

3. Aaron Donald - 14.0%

Hargrave is going to cash in this offseason, and he deserves it.

He was on my short draft list like 4 or 5 years ago. Would be nice to steal Chris Jones but I dont think he is going anywhere.
