2 or 3 years ago that would have been a great offer. I'm not for paying him i'd tag him and give him a low ball offer like you're suggesting. If he doesn't take it let him seek a trade or play under the tag and walk the next year.

I think my offer is fair. Maybe a hair low but still fair. I certainly would not be surprised if he got a little more.

Report: Detroit Lions re-signing Oday Aboushi to 1-year deal

Aboushi was first brought to Detroit last year. The Lions likely brought him aboard due to his familiarity with offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, whom he played under in 2017 with the Seahawks (started eight games that season).

Last year, Aboushi was simply a reserve, making seven game appearances and two starts. He earned a PFF ranking of just 57.7 in those games.

Aboushi doesn't talk back to MP. They gave him a contract based on towing the line.

Would of been a waste of money.
We already loaded at the position with Shelton, John Atkins, Olive Sagapolu, Kevin Strong and Nick Williams.
You're right on a waste of money. Suh would've been the one to get cut from the team... BQ and MP know how to spot real talent.

Bobby Q has constantly stated he likes playmakers.

I don't see how a CB coming off an injury with a broken arm and one who has dropped 12 possible Int's fits the bullshit his mouth has spewed regarding playmakers.

You blew this one Bobby Q

Danny Shelton uses Jiu-Jitsu as part of training regimen

Danny Shelton had a conference call with local Detroit media and he mentioned that he uses Jiu-Jitsu as part of his training regimen

Shelton said he took it up around four years ago in California

it helps him with body control and close combat work, similar to what he’s asked to do in the trenches of the NFL.

After his first season in New England, Shelton tipped the scales at 342-pounds, but Patriots’ coach Bill Belichick wanted him to lose weight to improve his quickness. Shelton turned back to Jui-Jitsu to help him control his weight, and was down to 325-pounds ahead of the 2019 season.

jimmeny christmas

you can't make these signings up

Report: Lions signing 2 linebackers: Reggie Ragland, Elijah Lee

In Detroit, Ragland will get a third chance to spark his career. He has the kind of body type that the Lions love—6-foot-2, 252 pounds—and he comes from a college program this coaching staff respects (Alabama). He’s a run stuffer first, but has struggled in coverage at the professional level.

He will likely push Jarrad Davis and Christian Jones for some playing time in training camp and could be the competition this team needs.

BB_72: push for who's the shittiest LB at coverage and run stopping

Lee made 38 game appearances, six starts, and tallied 76 tackles. Most of his contributions over that period have been on special teams, where he’s logged at least 230 snaps in each of his past three seasons.

good thing the 2020 NFL season will be cancelled when it's all said and done come September.

We'll need another year to re-tool what b-b-q tried to haphazardly fix this off-season.

Bob Quinn has personally looked over his game tape and said he is the best prospect he has ever seen.

Oh wait -- that was Teez Tabor. Disregard my statement
