I would love to see this. Lindros should get a huge ovation. The guy did everything possible to try to win a cup for us. It's really unfortunate that the relationship between him and Clarke went sour. He will always be remembered as a Flyer.

honestly, i grew more tired of Clarke then I did Lindros. It was as much his ego/arrogance that led to the fallout as it was Eric and the family.

I became a hockey (Flyers) fan because of this guy. I hope it works out and he gets to skate again albeit one last time for this club.

I absolutely agree with you. I was do pissed at Clarke using personal attacks against Eric and his father. Hopefully this will be only the beginning to patch things up. Eric's number needs to be retired and into the Flyers Hall of Fame the very least. Furthermore, some may disagree, but Lindros in my mind is a Hall of Famer. I get it that his career was short due to injuries. However, his dominance was so above most NHL players during his time. If only judges can overlook certain areas such as stats and years played, he should be in. I cannot remember which writer who said this, but this writer said without a doubt Lindros should be in but won't because of his short career.

I am so excited that Eric will once again wear the Orange and Black. Even if it is an exhibition. He was an animal and as much the victim of his style of play as anything else. The entire Clarke/Carl Lindros crap really got to be embarrassing as a fan of the sport and the Flyers.

I thought they said they havent been able to contact Renberg but are trying their best to get him to come. On another note. Here are some other former players I'd like to see play. Not sure if they have released a list of players.
