According to post game chatter. High ankle sprain. Looks like bourdon is gunna get a nice long shot at the pros while gust/lilja heal. I'm ok with it, he's been pretty solid

Not wishing injury on anyone but damn this is not a bad thing for our team.

Bourdon has been extremely impressive thus far. He can hit (both bodies and the net).

It would be easier to swallow if Gust was not on the shelf. Bourdon has done a nice job but I think Pronger getting back is going to be more important now....

I'll agree though, pronger coming back is more important now i really like bourdon so far and if gust was in I speak differently, but I dno if I trust bourdon and Marshall both being in the lineup.

I wonder why Bart has fallen so far out of the good graces of the brass. (they called up marshall again)

Was thinking the same thing Bart was playing well maybe he's not healthy enought yet? I'm sure someone wiser than myself will have the answer.

In any case they don't play again until Fri so the idiotic sched couldn't have come at a better time. Besides they'll prob beat the rags with their AHL team today anyway! : )

Bart has a 1-way contract and would have to clear re-entry waivers, which he wouldn't. I'm a big fan of bourdon so far though. A solid stay at home type who can skate, hit and makes a decent first pass. Also if lilja was put on ltir and someone was sent down or waived Schenn could be recalled, but I'd rather see him get some conditioning games in first.

ya i guess i do remember talking about bart having to go down for the season.. sucks.. they should have never kept walker up.. had bart be the 7th dman from the start.. oh well i guess.. bourdon has been great thus far IMO.. even puts shots on net which is someone only pronger has been able to do consistently so far

I was suprised because I thought Marshall was the better player but Bourdon did play better.

Very pleased with Bourdon. Marshall hasn't been bad either but Bourdon looks like a perfect 6/7. On a good note those guys in the minors can be used in the playoffs if injuries strike so the depth is nice.
