Versus, in the final year of its NHL deal, is debuting "NHL Overtime," 11 p.m. Monday-Thursday most weeks. The hour-long show will include highlights and interviews from the night's action. On-air talent hasn't been announced, but Yahoo!Sports says it will include guest analysts like ex-Red Wings Darren McCarty and Aaron Ward.

I have nothing against Versus. Everyone wanted the NHL back on ESPN, but let's face it if the NHL were to go back to them we all know how ESPN is. They treat the NHL like it's barely a sport to begin with and nothing would change that. Keep it on Versus there doing a decent job.

I hope this season, and by December so I can have a month of it before back to the student housing that manages to have Big Ten Network, five ESPNs (ESPN, 2, U, Classic, News), four MTVs, a channel in German, TV5 Monde, CBC, a channel in Chinese, and two channels in Spanish but no Versus.

Versus better get a new contract with the NHL, the last thing I wanna see is hockey on ESPN... I think VS. does a good job with hockey now, they were a little so-so in the beginning, but the panel is knowledgable and have a good sense of humor.

I think they do a pretty good job and if you do not get Versus you may want to contact your Cable or Sat provider. It's not Versus fault.
