Lightning VS Sabres GNT

Almost the end of the 2nd period and the Sabres are winning 3-1.

As usual, the Sabres are going to win just enough games to screw them on a good draft pick, but not enough to make the PO's.

I was however pulling for Enroth to get B2B shutouts. He has the only one for the Sabres this Season.

Good to see Chad Ruhwedel back on the bench to start the 3rd.

He took a nasty high stick in the 2nd period. and they had to stop the game to clean up the blood on the ice.

Sabres have a pretty tough schedule coming up so I don't think you need to worry about them winning to many more games. I know they have one at Boston and one at Pitt and those teams are trying for the top spot.

Porter and Flynn look good both have nine points since coming up.

Amazing how well this team is playing without Miller, Myers, Pommers, Leopold, Leino, and Regehr in the lineup.

Didn't Porter score as a result of a 2 on 1?

I mean, yeah, they fucked it up at first with the pass, but they recovered nicely for the goal.

Sabres will move into 10th place with the win tonight, but they still need to win out and get a lot of help to make the PO's.

At least the fans have a reason to cheer though.

Like I said in the survivor thread I was going to take Vanek today but took Stamkos and naturally Vanek has the point....so far.

Sabres are horrible with the EN, so Stamkos could still end up with a point tonight.
